Foreign Language Preparatory Program (English/French)
IFI, VNU would like to announce the admission of the Foreign Language Preparatory Program (English/French). The program is taught directly by Vietnamese and Native teachers.

 

1. Aim

• Developing 4 skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) towards B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR);

• Ensuring foreign language proficiency for students of Master's programs in foreign languages (English/French) at IFI and domestic and international academic institutions;

• Strengthening international cultural integration capacity.

2. Program Structure

The program is organized into 4 levels. The total duration is 700 hours, each level is 175 hours.

  • Level A1: 175h

Help learners have the basic knowledge to be able to adapt to real-life situations.

  • Level A2: 175h

Help learners develop these skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing so that learners can actively communicate in life and work.

  • Level B1: 175h

Help learners increase their vocabulary to be able to work in foreign languages in non-intensive situations.

  • Level B2: 175h

Help learners to use proficiently 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing to achieve Master's programs at IFI, VNU, study abroad, or work in an international environment.

3. Time and Location:

  • 06 lessons/ week (04 lessons / weekdays and 02 lessons / Saturday)
  • Location: International Francophone Institute, No.2 Phạm Văn Đồng, Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội, Việt Nam

4. Opening Ceremony (expected): December 15, 2020;  Time of submission: December 2nd, 2020

5. Tuition Fee

  • Level A1: 10.000.000 VNĐ
  • Level A2: 10.000.000 VNĐ
  • Level B1: 15.000.000 VNĐ
  • Level B2: 15.000.000 VNĐ

The tuition fee does not include the fee for the exam of foreign language certification. Students need to take the exam at the licensed organizations.
