TIBCO, IFI ink data analytics training deal

The joint effort aims to support students at IFI’s Faculty of Computer Science by providing practice-based training in data analytics and equipping them with necessary skills for digital transformation.

“The need for skilled data scientists is seen across Southeast Asia, as digital transformation and boosting the digital economy are taking center stage. We are excited to collaborate with IFI to play a role in providing the students with the necessary expertise to support the critical and current need for industry-relevant talents in Vietnam,” said Melissa Ries, general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan at TIBCO.

“Through this partnership, IFI can leverage our expertise and innovative solutions to provide a holistic curriculum for their students, ultimately equipping them with the relevant skill sets to help address the digital skills gap in Vietnam.”

Dr. Ngo Tu Lap, IFI director, said the cooperation with TIBCO will help bring high-quality education to local students, and make them well prepared for the digital age.

IFI students will have hands-on opportunities to practice concepts using selected TIBCO tools to deepen their knowledge in advanced data analytics. There will also be opportunities for them to learn through guest lectures, seminars, networking sessions, and relevant training modules with industry experts.
