Name: Interdisciplinary Research Lab
Functions & Mission:
Organizing interdisciplinary research activities in collaboration with the countries in Francophone community; carrying out scientific research projects by the orders of agencies, organizations and enterprises, in order to incorporate IFI and VNU into a global-level scientific research and develop the training and consultancy center in the future. In addition, the Interdisciplinary Development Research Department carries out other research tasks conducted by VNU and IFI.
Main research interests:
• Research of the Francophone community
• Research and implementation of multimedia communication projects
• Application of information technology to research projects in humanities and social sciences
• Implementation of projects on Social Informatics
• Research equipment
• A system of IT practice rooms with nearly 100 high-configuration computers
• A specialized software system for analyzing data in social sciences: SAS (Statistical Analysis System)
• A system of classrooms, seminars, co-working areas equipped with a capacity of 30–100 people (LED-screens, projectors, smart teaching equipment)
