IFI students attended the IAMES International Scientific Workshop: in Ho Chi Minh City
On November 15, 2019 in Ho Chi Minh city, two excellent students of IFI and IFI's Director Ngo Tu Lap attended the International Scientific Workshop: "The impact of education development policy on economic growth and sustainable development: Sharing experiences between Vietnam and Africa - Middle East region’s countries" organized by Institute of African and Middle East Studies (IAMES-VASS).

Two students KOUAMEN TANKOUA Joseph (Cameroon) and PAZIMNA Solibia (Togo) shared their views on the state of education in host country. They highly appreciated the learning environment at IFI in particular and Vietnam in general. They hope that through this conference, many Vietnamese educational investors will come to their countries. Director Ngo Tu Lap has a presentation on IFI's educational export experiences: IFI is training for more than 200 international students in 2019-2020.

For African - Middle East region countries, education is regarded as the key tool to reducing poverty, boosting the economic growth, improving the quality of physical and spiritual life, bringing equality to all people, and contributing to prevent conflicts and social-political instability in the region.

Therefore, the organizing of the International Scientific Workshop titled "The impact of education development policies on economic growth and sustainable development: Sharing experiences between Vietnam and Africa - Middle East countries " is not only topical event, but also of important issue to the study of the Africa-Middle East region, based on which concluding remarks and policy recommendations will be offered for fostering cooperative relations between Vietnam and ASEAN member countries, especially in the field of education and training - a potential cooperation development area in the near future.
