As of April 16, Vietnam has reported 268 Covid-19 cases, and no deaths so far, but as a result of a 15-day social distancing programme that began on March 31 many small businesses have been shuttered and thousands of people temporarily laid off from work.

Hanoi, April 7, 2020, Vietnamese government has donated 550,000 made-in-Vietnam anti-bacterial face masks to France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, which are battered by the COVID-19 pandemic and in a critical shortage of medical supplies.

As of April 6, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 241 cases of COVID-19. Vietnam Government stated no new cases overnight and this was the first time in almost a month that Vietnam did not record any new case. Vietnam is still well controlling the epidemic with a total of 241 infected people, 91 of whom have been cured and without any deaths.

As of April 3, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 233 cases of COVID-19. 35 of the affected were traced to Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi. However, 85 of the affected patients have recovered and 0 death.

As of March 31, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 204 cases of COVID-19. However, 55 of the affected patients have recovered and especially no death.
