Franconomics 2021: Challenges of digital transformation for equitable access to essential services in the period of Covid-19

Franconomics - 2021 will be co-organized by IFI, OIF and Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) with the theme « Digital transformation for sustainable development post Covid-19 ». The event will focus on the issues of South-South cooperation and technological integration in the key areas of socio-economic life, including education, agriculture.

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

The Franconomics is an annual event initiated by Institut Francophone International (IFI), under the sponsorship of Vietnam National University of Vietnam, Hanoi (VNU). The 1st Franconomics was held in Hanoi and Hưng Yên province on October 23-24, 2019 with the theme "Digital technology for the development of economy and smart society" and attracted the participation of delegates from 25 countries.

The 2nd Franconomics 2020 focused on the theme « From start-up to smart-up » was organized in Hanoi and Hưng Yên on October 22 and 23, 2020.The activities in the event include:the 2^nd National Anthem Singing Festival of International Students), the inauguration ceremony of Hưng Yên digital museum and the International Conference with the topic « Smart tourism: toward the sustainable development, a harmomy of economy, culture and environment ». Franconomics - 2021 co-organized by IFI, OIF and AUF with the theme « Digital transformation for sustainable development post Covid-19 » will focus on issues of South-South cooperation and technological integration in key areas of socio-economic life, including education, agriculture. As part of Franconomics - 2021, in addition to the plenary session, an international conference will also be organized on the subject of "Smart agriculture - potential and reality"; and the 3rd National Anthem Singing Festival for international students of Hanoi universities.

INVITATION

Digital transformation is currently an inevitable trend of society and is creeping in all fields and affecting individuals and organizations around the world. The great impact of digital transformation is contributing to improving productivity, saving and optimizing resources towards sustainable development. Each country, each field and each individual has different approaches, but where and how to start digital transformation is always a big question.

In order to contribute to the investigation of theories, trends and practical issues, as well as to share experiences of digital transformation in different fields, IFI, OIF together with AUF will co-host the Franconomics International Forum - 2021 with the theme: "Digital transformation for sustainable development post Covid-19" on November 24 and 25, 2021 in Hanoi. This event will have the participation of partner organizations such as: Enterprise Development Foundation (EDF - VCCI), Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies (IAMES)… On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite scientists , experts, entrepreneurs and investors to attend and share your experiences at the event.
