Hanoi, April 7, 2020, Vietnamese government has donated 550,000 made-in-Vietnam anti-bacterial face masks to France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, which are battered by the COVID-19 pandemic and in a critical shortage of medical supplies.

As of April 6, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 241 cases of COVID-19. Vietnam Government stated no new cases overnight and this was the first time in almost a month that Vietnam did not record any new case. Vietnam is still well controlling the epidemic with a total of 241 infected people, 91 of whom have been cured and without any deaths.

As of April 3, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 233 cases of COVID-19. 35 of the affected were traced to Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi. However, 85 of the affected patients have recovered and 0 death.
