The international training program in retail banking (CIRB.UK) with the goal of being customer-centric is the training cooperation program between IFI and the Vietnam International Trade & Investment Promotion Center (VITIP). International training program CIRB.UK will provide retail banks at all levels in Vietnam with professional training courses in both Vietnamese and English. Certified International Retail Banker (CIRB.UK) of RBI is designed to be a passport that brings students to success in the banking sector in general and retail banking in particular”.

Maria Nguyễn, General Director of VITIP said: “According to the financial report of the second quarter of 2022 of 30 domestic banks, as of June 30, the total number of employees working in the entire system reached more than 315,500 people, increasing by 3.1% compared to the end of the previous year. The potential for retail banking in Vietnam is still huge. Vietnam has a large fiscal space for retail development compared to other countries in the region, according to Mirae Asset Securities. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for businesses, especially the retail banking industry to improve customer service and attract new users. There is no exception to this rule when it comes to human resource management. It has always been human beings who have played a pivotal role in the success of a business. Catching up with the consequences of the industrial revolution 4.0 is a problem not only for banks but also training institutes, regulators, and workers themselves”.
