The International Francophone Institute (IFI) was established through the integration of the French University Center in Hanoi (Pôle Universitaire Français à Hanoi, PUF Hanoi, founded in 2006) and the Informatics Francophone Institute (Institut de la Francophonie pour l'Informatique, founded in 1993). It was renamed the International Francophone Institute in 2014 and underwent a transformation in 2023. Over 30 years of development, IFI has become a high-quality international training & research organization and has proved to be a pioneer in the field of interdisciplinary and international education and research. In the future, IFI expects to be a leading educational institution in the Francophone Community in the Asia-Pacific region.
