The SIM Master's program has a history of nearly 30 years, developed through IFI's collaboration with La Rochelle University in France. It is one of the first two Master's programs in Information Technology in Vietnam recognized by the Francophone University Agency (AUF) as an "international training program." It is a tradition and a reputable brand of IFI and Vietnam National University, Hanoi in general. To date, over 1000 graduates have completed this Master's program, many of whom have continued their studies at the doctoral level or worked at various universities, research institutes, and large enterprises not only in Vietnam but also in developed countries such as France, Belgium, Canada, and more. Particularly, the SIM Master's program contributes significantly to the internationalization of Vietnam National University, Hanoi with a diverse network of students from various countries worldwide, including France, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Congo, Haiti, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and others. For international students, IFI consistently develops scholarship policies and support to help them quickly adapt and settle into life in a new country with a different culture. Currently, all international students at IFI receive monthly living expenses support and accommodation at the Foreign Language Dormitory of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This student housing is modern and well-equipped with facilities such as dining halls, mini supermarkets, internet cafes, and gyms. Additionally, during their studies at IFI, international students also participate in extracurricular activities and internships to equip themselves with the necessary skills and experience for a professional working environment.
