During the opening ceremony, AAFV representative Ms. Phan Kim Vân, Project Manager, FUNiX representatives including Ms. Phan Thị Hồng Anh - Head of Training Department; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Sen - Head of the Program Development Department; Ms. Bùi Thị Hoàng Mai - Head of Hannah 1 Department at Hannah Center; Ms. Vũ Thị Hoa - Head of Hannah 9 Department at Hannah Center were present. IFI was represented by Mr. Phùng Danh Thắng, Director of the International Francophone Institute; Mr. Phan Xuân Thắng, Director of
Center for Education and Training (IFI-PUF), and the entire Organizing Team for the course. The opening ceremony was attended by lecturers, businesses, experts in the field of Information Technology, and students of the program.
In his opening speech, Mr. Phùng Danh Thắng, Director of the International Francophone Institute, expressed joy in welcoming the students participating in the training course. He emphasized the significance of this program, a shared aspiration of organizations and individuals wanting to contribute to society. Mr. Phùng Danh Thắng mentioned that the training course would last 6 months, combining online learning and on-site training in Hanoi. He also extended his best wishes for the students to complete the training course successfully.
Next, Ms. Phan Kim Vân introduced the Vietnam-France Friendship Association (AAFV) and the Solidarity Talents Vietnam (STVN) project. She expressed joy and pride in participating and supporting scholarships for young talents in difficult circumstances who have motivation, determination, and high aspirations. The STVN project provides young people with the opportunity to participate in quality training courses and aims to lead them towards a career in the field of information technology. Over time, the STVN professional training project has received support from social organizations, educational institutions, French businesses, and those who love Vietnam, with the desire to share and create opportunities for the underprivileged in society. Ms. Phan Kim Vân sincerely thanked the French Embassy in Vietnam, IFI, and partner units for coordinating the implementation of this training course.
Mr. Phan Xuân Thắng, Director of the Center for Education and Training, IFI, discussed the program's content and regulations. He stated, "Through the training program, students will be equipped with comprehensive knowledge of technology, soft skills, and languages to meet the requirements of working in the field of Software Testing at technology companies both domestically and internationally. In addition, students will have the opportunity to intern and work at companies immediately after graduation, prioritizing young people who want to switch or orient their careers towards the information technology field but do not yet have favorable conditions."
The students were welcomed with an enthusiastic and vibrant atmosphere. The event marked an important beginning, promising significant achievements in the future for students participating in the Software Tester training course at IFI. The certificate award ceremony for Software Tester Cohort 1 and the inauguration ceremony for Cohort 2 will be held on March 9, 2024.
