L’Indochine littéraire : un état des lieux

Résumé : Les lettres francophones d’Indochine n’appartiennent ni tout à fait au champ littéraire autochtone, ni complètement au champ littéraire français. Elles manquent donc d’ancrage et d’autonomie. L’étude sur cette littérature se restreint encore aujourd’hui à l’exotisme et aux rêveries les plus superficielles. Cet état des lieux vise alors à montrer qu’elle mérite d’être sortie de l’ombre grâce à un travail bibliographique rigoureux, accompagné d’une relecture des œuvres les plus remarquables.

Abstract : Francophone letters in Indochina entirely belong neither to autochtonal literary field, nor to French literary field. They are short of roots and autonomy. The study of this literature, still now, limits oneself  to exoticism and to the sallowest dreams. This inventory aims to show that francophone literature of Indochina merits to be rediscovered by rigorous drawing of bibliography and also by reading again the most noteworthy works.
