INTRODUCTION
After more than 50 years of establishment and development, the Francophonie community has gradually transformed and become a diverse political, economic and cultural space, making practical contribution to peacekeeping, cooperation and sustainable development in the world. At present, La Francophonie (official name: the International Organization of La Francophonie) has become the common home of 88 member states and observers from five continents around the world. With 1.2 billion people, the Francophonie community accounted for 16% of the world's population and 16.5% of the total global wealth. (latest update in March 2023).
In 1979, Vietnam participated the Agency for Cultural and Technical Cooperation (ACCT – the predecessor of the OIF). The relationship between Vietnam and the Francophonie community has gradually strengthened and developed. As an active and responsible member of the Francophonie community with increasingly assertive role and position, Vietnam is entrusted with crucial leadership position such as the president of the Permanent Council of Francophonie (CPF), president of the Ministerial Conference of Francophonie (CMF), president of the Sommet de la Francophonie etc. Through these roles and responsibilities, itis demonstrated the community's appreciation for Vietnam as well as Vietnam's prestige in the community. The participation of Vietnam in the OIF plays the role of a gateway to the world. The 7th Francophonie Summit, which is held in 1997 and in Hanoi, marked Vietnam's path towards regional and international integration through political, economic and social as well as cultural and linguistic cooperation activities with la Francophonie.

The international conference "Vietnam in La Francophonie" is an opportunity for scholars, experts and managers to exchange and deeply understand Vietnam’s position in the Francophonie community and aims to:

For the purpose of discussing, sharing research results, experience, and academic profession regarding the role of Vietnam in the Francophonie community, the Organization Committee cordially invites scientists, researchers, specialists, lecturers, etc. to participate and contribute content to the conference. Quality papers would be posted in the DAAS-2024 Proceedings of Diderot Advanced Academic Seminars (number ISBN and ISSN 2734-9969), and outstanding papers will be published in the Francophonie in Asia-Pacific Science Publication on "La francophonie au Vietnam : créer, innover, entreprendre" (International ISBN and ISSN 2525-2488).
